Contact Lenses at Centrasota Eye Care

Our doctors excel in prescribing contact lenses for all types of vision conditions, including astigmatism and presbyopia (bifocals). They realize that some patients have unique needs, such as dry eyes and allergies. Our doctors specialize in treating any underlying conditions, so contact lenses can be worn more comfortably. Finding the right combination of lens material, solution and eye drops can make a big difference in contact lens satisfaction. Our doctors are experts focusing in difficult prescriptions and enjoy finding the lens that is going to work for you. In most cases, we are able to supply a one-month trial lens to assure satisfaction.

Storing and Cleaning Your Contact lenses

  • Always wash and dry your hands before handling contact lenses.
  • Clean your lenses daily. Rub the contact lenses with your fingers and rinse the lens before placing your lenses in solution overnight.
  • Use only fresh solution to store and clean your contact lenses. Do not reuse contact lens solution or “top off”.
  • Use only the solution that is recommended by your doctor.
  • Clean your lens case everyday. Pour the old solution out of your case and rinse your case with fresh solution. Do not use tap water on soft lenses. Keep the case open and dry between cleanings.
  • Replace the case every three months.
  • Follow your recommended replacement schedule to prevent infection and irritation.
